Center for Rule of Ocean Law Studies(Ocean Law Center)has integrated Shanghai Jiao Tong University Think-Tank Research Base & Shanghai Social Science Innovation Research Base-- Shanghai Jiao Tong University on National Marine Strategy and Rights, SJTU-Center for Rule of Ocean Law Studies, SJTU-Center for Polar and Deep Development. Now the Ocean Law Center are inviting scholars from around the world for establishing a top marine research platform together.

Requirements:
1.Applicants should be experienced in policy consultancy and academic research.
2.Applicants should have same or similar research interests with the Ocean Law Center and possess several representative publications.

Responsibilities:
1.Applicants should engage in research activities of the Ocean Law Center depending on their interests and specialties, and complete their visiting projects on time.
2.Research productions must be signed with ‘Fund of Shanghai University Think Tank& Shanghai Social Science Innovation Research Base on National Marine Strategy and Rights, Shanghai Jiao Tong University’. 
3.For applications own above signed publications, they will be rewarded and provided certifications when complete their visiting projects.
4.The Ocean Law Center would assist applicants in finding accommodations on campus, and grant limited travel allowance for attending academic conferences.

Visiting period:
Initial appointment term would be at least three month and no more than twelve months in duration.*
(* If applicants wish to adjust their visiting period, they must submit an approval request in advance. )
